POPO'S MIRACLE

I loved it, for not only is it an original and entertaining story of a small boy and a lost donkey, but the Mexican village background is delightful. The donkey could not speak, but he did his part in leading the little village boy who wanted to learn to paint to his master, who was an artist in a town some distance away from the village where the donkey had wandered. Into the story are woven incidents of Mexican life, a fiesta, a wedding, market days, and the round of village activities.
