THE FARAWAY TRAIL

Another good story from a dependable author, this time an authentic picture of frontier life in Arkansas a century and more ago. There is enough story interest to carry the factual content, with house raising, corn husking, all the routine activities of pioneer life, and with glimpses of the beginnings of Little Rock. The children of the Blair family seem very real. Covered wagon and frontier material (this combines the two) has a reliable place, particularly in western shops.
