A LITTLE LESS THAN KIND

Miss Armstrong reworks the Hamlet theme and cast to a fare-thee-well. Ladd Cunningham, the 20 year old sick, sick son suspects his mother and his step-father of killing his father. (Rosencrantz and Guildenstern become the psychiatrists that he won't see.) Ophelia is Felicia (a next door neighbor) etc., etc., etc.. Without ever reading Hamlet (or remembering it) the book is a good enough mystery from a pen that has done better. Psychiatry comes to the rescue here, but who will save Shakespeare?
