KIRKUS REVIEW

Our juvenile cowboys seem to get tinier and tinier, and here by the author of the books, is the story of a very young cowboy who wanted to save people like the brave cowboys on -- of course -- TV. After being handsomely fringed and gunned, Dick set out on his hobby horse to save things and people, but frogs, puppy dogs, ducks and canaries did not want to be saved. However, Dickie does get his chance finally to be a brave cowboy.
