CASEBOOK IN PASTORAL COUNSELING

With an increasing number of Protestant ministers receiving special training in the modern techniques of pastoral counseling, and many others trying to improve their pastoral counseling skills through ""on the job"" training, such a book as this is bound to be a great help. It is a collection of 56 actual cases, verbatim reports of counseling sessions by different ministers, reporting a wide variety of situations and their handling of the case reported. Each presentation is followed by criticism and comments from specialists in the field, including such men as Ray A. Burkhart, Wayne E. Oates, Roswell Dicks, Paul E. Johnson and Carroll A. Wise.
