KIRKUS REVIEW

The first gypsy story I have read which sounds as if the material came first hand. A modern gypsy tale -- of a girl and her grandmother, who succeeded in combining a fierce loyalty to their racial traditions with a graceful, and rather amusing acceptance of the modern world. Good characterization.
