GRAB BAG

This is an excellent collection of stories, and should make an ideal family book, for there are stories keyed to a wide range of ages (with the 9-12 as a good medium group), boy or girl interest, variations in period, background, type. There are short stories and there are extracts from long stories; there are stories of adventure, of history, of real people; and there are fantasies. Many well-known authors represented, and some unfamiliar names.
