Two natives describe the hedonistic high points--at greatest length restaurants (in four price categories although you're apt to find more that are astronomically priced along with their particular gastronomical virtues); cafes and bars; night life for the benedicts; hotels (a minimal selection); shopping (even hats to put over the heads you have coiffed and where); antiques; and galleries where the coverage is really slipshod. Site-seeing is kept to a minimal chapter at the close and this is definitely designed for the lady in the mink stole and her husband whose Hermes wallet is wadded.
