KIRKUS REVIEW

The staff and salesgirls of a fashionable dress salon burble- and bristle when some oxalic acid, purchased to clean a hat, is used to kill one of its personnel. The loveliness of the ladies here clouds the inquiry by a suspectible policeman but does not obscure the personal and professional jealousies which have led to the crime. Well manicured, this is more decorative than speculative.
