EACH TO THE OTHER

An autobiography in verse -- close to 400 pages of intensely subjective, emotional poetry. There are fine passages, but it is uneven. Throughout, the personal is underlined by a general philosophical commentary. The feeling throughout is poetic, which is more than can be said of most long narrative poems. Free verse -- prefatory sonnet to each section. An interesting experiment.
