KIRKUS REVIEW

Gale speed adventure features Major Bill Conway, a British officer on a special mission in Persia, during WWII, that involves Russians, Germans, Persians and Poles. Seeking the enemy and winning the friendship of mountain tribes for the Allies, Bill moves in a rough crowd. His Polish girl is killed for spite, but he saves top-level conferees on their way to Iran, causes the German Skull's death and returns home, a lonely battered hero.
