OPERATION MANHUNT

Not juvenile pablum but adult pap as British agent Jonathan Anders (young without being youthful) is sent to the West Indies to secure vanished Polish General Pobrenski--on the basis of his resemblance to a steward in a travel photo. A resemblance that has made ""Benny the Steward"" a hot property, and a valuable one if he can be salvaged. That Benny--rescued from a Russian operative and an international operator blandly fails to produce is the choice item here. But the chief attraction is the freakish topography and tricky seas of the Indies--it's vividly (back)grounded if otherwise unprepossessing (and less Jon's novitiate than Operation Destruct).
