OPERATION MOSCOW

A dialectic diatribe of speculative, second-hand anti-Soviet sentiments and opinions, by the former chief of UNRRA in Denmark, who views recent world history as having been controlled almost exclusively by the Politburo. In the first section the author analyzes Soviet post-war world policy, with pertinent looks back into the prewar days, and explains this policy in terms of Stalinism and its ideals. The last half is devoted to a consideration of ""Operation Moscow"" on the military and spiritual fronts. The author proposes a strong enmity with Russia which would impose an American peace on the world and maintain it with military and atomic bomb forces that would overwhelm Russia. For spiritual strength, he calls for a return to Christianity and religion. A rambling, unauthentic propaganda piece, made up of half truths and a convenient memory, which adds nothing to understanding of the Russian problem, except fuel to the fire.
