An enchanging book, with something of the feel of Water Gypsies and the classic. Three Men in a Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog) --and a market that lies at hand but will have to be told about it. In other words, this is one of those ""word of mouth propaganda"" books. You like it, you tell someone else, and that person tells someone else. See to it that some member of the sales force gets back of it, check over your customers for those who liked -- for example, the recent Was It A Holiday? (there's a book for good summer sales, and it hasn't had a break -- see page 58 for report) -- for discriminating readers with a sense of humor, a spirit of adventure, and a yen for the unusual in human interest travel books....This tells of the experiences of a young couple, artists and hard up, who took a small craft, fitted it up as a house boat, and traveled the water ways of central Europe, finding their ways into the hearts of the water folk everywhere.
