Clear, precise instructions and lucid diagrams by Elisabeth D. McKee should make this a favorite with manual arts teachers and mechanically inclined youngsters. There are dozens of projects for the construction of transportation toys, circus gadgets, games, doll houses and doll furniture, all to be accomplished with fairly simple tools and materials. Although the publishers list this for the 10-14 level, we place it as a 12-15, because of the somewhat high degree of skill required to complete many of the projects successfully.
