The latest Chip Hilton adventure in which Chip outwits politicians and gamblers. In his senior year, Chip was elected Mayor-for-a-Day, and caused some consternation in City Hall. Then Valley Falls wins its way to the finals in the State Tournament and Chip outwits the gamblers and leaps into the ninth inning crisis to pitch. Also there is some dirty work in attempting to put the skids under the Coach, which is happily dissolved in the end.
