This is included in this section, because the content is keyed for six to nine year olds, and the vocabulary is a bit beyond them. There is the folk lore and traditional element, too, which goes over better handled by an adult. The story of the orphan, Terry, who is ""put upon"" by his foster parents and their children, manages to get some good breaks over the Feast of the Epiphany. He uses his wits, is there at the right moment, and comes out King of the Feast. There is less humor than in her Five Chinese Brothers, but it is a nice story.
