KIRKUS REVIEW

The factual content of this is better than the story, but there is plenty here for children who are bent on raising a puppy in a city apartment. The story of Tipi, who learned to stay in his own yard, who learned to sing dog fashion, who had his tonsils out and won prizes in the school pet show. Everything about the puppy is fun; there's even a very useful section on diet and training. Too bad the children and parents aren't as real as the dog!
