KIRKUS REVIEW

With an introductory section indicating the basic services for visitors to New York, methods of transportation, etc., Miss Laughlin then proceeds to handle New York as she has handled European cities, without, however, managing to convey any sense of excitement or glamor. The facts are there, but the color and drama are lacking. This slim book constitutes the opening sections of the proposed So You're Going to Travel in the U. S. A useful handbook for a stranger in the city.
