JORY'S COVE

There's a lovely quality to the pictures (by the author) in this friendly story of a Nova Scotia fishing village, not far from Halifax, given full value by fine reproduction of tone and texture and different densities of black. It is a distinguished piece of fine book making. In addition- the story is a good one, though not as important as one might wish. Tale of a boy whose ambition it was to secure a boat worthy to carry on the traditions of his dead father- of the adventures which made it his.
