Leisure pleasure -- good Summer fare- but by no means the superior romantic release of Instruct My Sorrows, nor even of These Are the Times. This is the story of Kay and Mac, twelve years married happily and for the first time encountering emotional tension. Mac, eaten by recrimination after the death of his father, becomes more and more difficult, more and more withdrawn. Kay, feeling insecure, takes up with an easterner, uses him as a prop, but when it comes to a showdown finds he's no substitute for the real thing she has had with Mac. They talk it out- Kay accepts the fact that Mac has slept with another woman and overrides it as an incident, and they take up where they 'left off. Amplified rental relization.
