ARCHIBALD THE GREAT

Another of Kelland's custom-tailored jobs, this time about Wilson who wanted to be an onlooker but who found spectators are forced into action in spite of themselves. Turned down by the services, as secretary to Cloyd -- a Napoleon expert and counterpart -- he wetnurses his charge through the making of a moving picture, gets involved with a tire racketeer, and falls in love with a girl rancher. All meet again in the desert where Wilson is blasted out of his inertis by a puppy's mistreatment and danger to Cloyd and his girl, and he proves himself a hero several times over. Cloyd too shows some good stuff and both head for matrimony. Diverting enough.
