KIRKUS REVIEW

The author of the well-received Sycamore Shores writes of his explorations round and about watering places of the Southern Appalachians, old and new. Trips into the hills, talks with the local people, history and legend -- records of America of the past, told in enthusiastio manner. Pleasant reading, anecdotal in character, and should appeal to anyone who liked the earlier book. Good Americana.
