CHRISTIAN METAPHYSICS by Claude Tresmontant

CHRISTIAN METAPHYSICS

This work has a double purpose: first, to demonstrate that there is a specifically Christian metaphysics, and, second, to examine the Bible and documents with a view toward establishing in summary form the metaphysics which they imply or explicitly state. There is no book quite like this in any language; all previous works of ""Christian metaphysics"" have been more concerned with studying Christianity in relation to metaphysics, or metaphysics in relation to Christianity, than in investigating the existence and content of a uniquely Christian metaphysical system. It is, then, a work of original for the Christian philosopher, although it is too specialized in concept and too technical in presentation to appeal to any but that rather limited audience.
