SUN GRUMBLE by Claudia Fregosi

SUN GRUMBLE

Jagged, Domanska-like geometries in primary blue and red and eggyolk yellow decorate the sketchy story of a sun that gets tired of shining and quits, but changes his mind when he visits the cold gray earth and realizes what a mess it's in without him. Though no motivation is needed for the initial walk-out, we found the settlement gratuitously sudden, and despite the yellow of the sun even the pages he shines on lack warmth. However many will be impressed by the brittle, cold-blooded sort of brilliance displayed in Fregosi's cleverly crabbed sun, radiating star and roughly zodiac-like band of animals.
