ARMY WOMAN'S HANDBOOK

This duplicates to some extent the content of the Pye & Shea The Army Wife (Harper-1941), though this is wholly a businesslike handbook for the army wife, with social matters and procedure subordinated to two or three closing chapters. It is completely factual, topically arranged, covering benefits, commercial and government insurance, allotments, pensions, gratuities, disability and compensation, wills, taxes, property rights, deeds, procedure in event of death, army relief, communications with army officer, and etiquette of the post. There is more of the financial guidance and less of the social aspects in this book.
