KIRKUS REVIEW

The author of The Army Woman's Handbook and The Navy Woman's Handbook has established a reputation well sustained by this new volume, for grasp of detail of a subject and ability in organizing, presenting the salient points. This is fundamentally a handbook covering selective service, induction stations, training, and college assignments; it covers points of allied interest such as insurance, allotments, building of morale. Further -- it is a convincing statement of what the armed services are doing in building men as well as fighters. Good for morale on the home front.
