KIRKUS REVIEW

Webb Jernegan, with his own name as well as his brother's to clear, on a igged robbery-cum-murder charge, continues his three year tracer of his enemy Raines. Webb and his faithful friend Elias finally catch up with Raines in old California, assume charge of two young women and their ""pretty stones""- a quarter of a million dollars worth, and the old revenge is achieved, a double romance fulfilled. Busy but only basic in interest.
