THE HOLE

A novelty item features a real hole smack in the center of the book and a different object built around it on each page. What is this gaping bit of emptiness? Is it a ""fish in the sea""...""a wing on a bee""...or ""a hammock for taking a nap?"" Is it ""a bouncing ball""...""a leaf in fall""...or ""the peak of a general's cap""? To all these queries, the rhyme shouts ""No"" then holds up a mirror to a smiling ""You"". The only prerequisite for enjoyment is a well developed ability to recognize whole configurations.
