KIRKUS REVIEW

Horton smith is on his way to a hometown retreat when his car is charged by a triceratops; shortly thereafter he finds himself getting drunk with Barney Google's friend Snuffy Smith, waking .up with a rattlesnake, on his chest, and absorbing the notion that his (now deceased) friend had discussed about the possibility of a real imaginary world populated by all the creatures dreamed up by man through the centuries. Which there is. . . with a disturbed devil determined to get rid of all the ""junky fantasy"" (Howdy Doody, etc.) coming through lately. So much Mickey Mouse.
