DEATH OF A BIG SHOT

Junior, self-cast as a gangster, is tripped up by his basic rightness when he rescues Mary when she is in trouble and falls reluctantly in love. Junior sets out to prove her uncle's death, by which she inherited a huge fruit ranch, was murder, that jealous relatives are endangering her life, and that two of them are the criminals. Other violent deaths, and finally Junior's own, bring about a bloody end, but Mary is saved for the right man. Glib, with a touch of toughness, and dependable.
