KIRKUS REVIEW

Eleven short and long stories provide greater intellectual and philosophical exercising than SF generally offers and show that alien worlds to come will prove humans are still in the nursery. A gift from outer space visitors brings kindness to a boy; mutants show a human the truth; missionaries to the earth stop disease; dwellers on an asteroid become the characters they have created in a play, etc. Argumentative.
