Imagination rampant. A story with plenty of pictures in which two children imagine they make their own airplane, fly to the North Pole (and points south) have endless fantastic adventures -- and are almost late for lunch. Clifford Webb can be counted on for humor and understanding of the child's make-believe, though this stretches even the child's credulity.
