KIRKUS REVIEW

Camping adventure, the growth of a father-son relationship, and a liberal amount of humor in this story of a Canadian camping trip. Tony Bristol begrudged the four weeks he must spend with his father on the trip, although he pitied his father's boyish eagerness. But Tony was to discover something about his father's strong character and resourcefulness when their Indian guide becomes seriously ill in the wilderness, and his father by some psychology and original ""ritual"" restores the Indian's morale and hastens recovery. Well-intentioned, kindly humor with a wonderful wilderness setting.
