THE SAGA OF THE BOUNTY

Readers of the Nordhoff-Hall material will find this compilation of records of the case of definite interest. This should be the Bounty story to end Bounty stories, as the personal records of the participants purport to be the last word in the matter. Virtually all of them left written records which Mr. Anthony has skilfully edited. There is also an abstract of the court martial that tried the men brought back in the Pandora and the reports from the ""Topaz"", the first word heard of the nine mutineers on Pitcairn, and the report of a visitor to the island in 1815. Often directly in conflict, the records and personal narratives show what a tremendous task confronted the authors who recreated the famous mutiny. Market:- standard on the sea shelf.
