You know Col. Meek's stuff about as well as we do now and this proves no shirking in the line of duty towards an exciting, atmospheric story of a New York State game warden and his faithful pointer. Young Budge Outland and Rip tackle a gang of poachers. Tim Scrymer and his scroungy family appear no more than spot pilferers but a bit of tracking uncovers things like housebreaking and arson. Climaxed by some daredevil auto chasing, near deaths, jail for the Scrymers and promotions for Budge and Rip.
