Pub Date: Sept. 12th, 1947
Publisher: Infantry Journal

A recapitulation, through personal experiences and those of others, of the negligence, inefficiency, criminal maltreatment, of the Japanese toward their prisoners of war. The author, who surrendered on Corregidor, follows the long trail of inter in all the records of brutality, hatred and inhumanity in the various camps, prison and in all kinds of dealings between the prisoners and their captors. This account reflects the basic thinking of the Japanese as the cause of their actions; it also icles the moral and mental depression and physical strain of the American, British Duton prisoners. A ""lest we forget"" momento, which adds little new but which underline all that has been written before.
