THE GREAT ZOO ESCAPE

Ruffles, a fine-feathered cartoon specimen, keeps the other birds on the island in stitches with his impossible tales of far-off adventures--and then he's captured and carted off to the zoo, where he sets up a squawk that brings his island friends to the rescue. Now, though the other birds still laugh (?), his tale of distant adventure is true. In looks as well as raucous sound, a refugee from the five-and-dime.
