Collection of short stories, not important stories, but good, everyday stories, by such authors as Laura Richards and Padraic Colum, with poems at intervals through the book by Eunice Tietjens, Beatrice Curtis Brown, etc. The illustrations by Robert Lawson are exceptionally good, perhaps the best he had done this year. And the collection should prove useful for group reading and story telling.
