DOCTOR, LAWYER

No. 9 for San Francisco's Lt. Hastings when the nursery-rhymed murders of a doctor, lawyer, and a merchant really threaten the Police Department's Chief--he'll be next with $500,000 riding on his life. The scenario's complicated by a suspended officer on the take, guns stolen from the force's property room, a Patty Hearst type and her savvy ghetto black, etc., etc. The real murderer lends a little of the personal involvement this series has featured and while it's not the best that's been, it wastes no time--theirs or yours.
