KIRKUS REVIEW

What's an adventure?"" asked Kendy, but his parents were too busy reading to notice that he had picked up the word. Accompanied by his dog and cat, Kendy went off to the forest to find adventure. He found an elephant, a giraffe, a bird, two warriors, and a castle, but they all disclaim the name of adventure. Eventually it's time to go home, and the rudimentary fantasy pads off as gently as it all started. The softly colored crayon sketches of people and animals are pudgy, doll-like, and expressive.
