A very simply written book on prayer. After stressing the necessity of prayer for the Christian, the author deals with various aspects of prayer such as communion, thanksgiving, confession, intercession and meditation stating the general principles involved and recommending certain forms and techniques. Prayers from The Book of Common Prayer of the Episcopal Church and a few other sources are used for illustrative purposes. This would be a good book to put into the hands of a member of a confirmation class or to give to a new seeker for the truth. Particularly useful for Episcopalians but not exclusively so.
