KIRKUS REVIEW

The ttles particular brand of haphazard homicide with imperturbable investigation by a young miss, this time Eugenia Gates, when vacationing in the apartment of a friend. Finding that friend's husband is among those missing, along with a neighbor's wife, Eugonia prods the police, disengages two corpses, engages the heart interest of a Sergeant, interpolates impertinently, physically and mentally, but gets her comedown when the police beat her to the solution. Casual crime for lighter tastes.
