KIRKUS REVIEW

Three famous Chinese women, sisters, -- one now the wife of Chiang Kai-shek, one the widow of Sun Yat Sen, one the wife of H. H. Kung. Good material here, with three brilliant women following three distinct paths to fame, their ideals for China and their famous husbands. But the book is too effusive -- even though the style does not spoil the picture of Chinese family life.
