Five of the original titles in a series that made a distinctive place for themselves are now reissued in original format. Each book has from 14 to 20 full page lithographs, map end papers, jackets and covers in six colors, and black and white spots. As originally issued the age appeal was set too low. Now we notice they are suggested for nine and up, which seems right, for the combination of text and pictures. Here is an appealing way to learn the geography of America -- excellent supplement to social studies.
