KIRKUS REVIEW

Caps Cod as setting for family, female and financial troubles breeding murder sleuthed unsuccessfully by local and state police. An amateur leads them to correct solution. Three deaths result in shifting suspicion and tangled revelations, with the killer ultimately unmasked by a theatrical trick. Adequate -- but not out of the ordinary.
