NIETZSCHE by Crane Brinton

Email this review

Brief outline of Nietzsche's ideas and his life, what he hated, what he wanted, as background for a study of his influence on first the intellectuals, then the tougher minded. Leads up to the vital part his philosophy has played in the Nazi program, through interpretation and education, to develop the racial doctrines, anti-semitism, the superman theory. Enough has been attributed to him to give this a certain importance among those who are studying the psychology of Naziism.
