Included in the portfolio is a brief text on modern lithography, on how an artist in this specialized field works, and on the importance of caring for and knowing about horses. Then follow descriptive notes on the prints, and a chart of miniatures for identification. The pictures themselves carry no captions, but the titles under the spot drawings are descriptive,- Early Speed, Three of a Kind, High Courage, Dinnertime, and so on. There are two Man O'War pictures; one of Stymle and one of Subdeb.
