KIRKUS REVIEW

A adept in the happy ending school turns in the 15th of her amiable romances which continues the story begun in and in the Hills James brings his bride, Rhoda, to their little hillside farm, Boscath, where she makes friends with their neighbors and the new life she is to live. There is a young doctor with a youthful marriage to straighten out, the misfit owners of Tassieknowe, a fatherless boy with a talent for painting and a love affair to be set to rights so that a winter in border Scotland is filled with pleasant happenings. And Mamie and Jock, James' relatives, contribute their heartening helpfulness for all. Relaxing.
