KIRKUS REVIEW

This is a slick, old-fashioned melodrama about the defeat of an almost omniscient and omnipotent world-ruling computer at the hands of a small band of human conspirators and their Martian allies. An effective if unfair ending questions the Martians' motives and paves the way for a sequel. Simpleminded enough, with a subplot of antediluvian sexism, but it should provide modified entertainment.
